GOGBOT FESTIVAL - ENSCHEDE
Our biggest and baddest festival. After more than 20 editions we can claim that this festival is the shi*t. At GOGBOT, we do things a bit differently than the well-behaved museums and art institutes. Every September we go all out with four days and nights packed with avant-garde art, music, and creative technology. We present a mix of upcoming national talents and big international names in the art scene.
TEC ART FESTIVAL - ROTTERDAM
GOGBOT's litte sister, strengthening the east and west connection. TEC ART is the kick-off of the yearly PLANETART research theme, culminating at GOGBOT Festival. TEC ART traditionally takes place during the Rotterdam Art Week in February / March, offering a challenging view to the audiences of the west.
NOMAT - EVERYWHERE
NOMAT is the Nomadic Offspace Museum of Art & Technology, the spiritual successor to the GOGBOT Museum of the Future. With NOMAT we organise instantiations (a hipster word for 'projects') that can be anything: from a single art piece exhibited somewhere, a symposium, a web event, or even a full blown little festival. These temporary experiences can pop-up everywhere throughout the year.
WARP TECHNOPOLIS (R.I.P 2023)
WARP Technopolis was a breeding ground for creative technology, digital avant-garde art, and electronic dance culture in the heart of Enschede. With over 4000m2 of space it hosted a museum, a bar, a club and a huge community of creatives. WARP had a short but impactful life.
GOGBOT MUSEUM OF THE FUTURE (R.I.P.)
The Museum of the Future was housed in the WARP Technopolis and connected art and night life. The exhibited works changed at irregularly, when urgent social developments demanded it. GOGBOT Museum of the Future grew out of the GOGBOT Festival and was the first experimental step towards a 24-7 art experience in the Netherlands.
